Stephen Adele, CEO of iSatori Technologies, Overcomes Obstacles and Receives Entrepreneur of the Year™ Recognition

[Golden, CO; May 11, 2007] For some, being recognized for overcoming challenges might not seem like a compliment. Certainly, it's not the best way to gain recognition. Or is it? After all, isn't it through adversity that we grow and learn the most?

That's exactly how Stephen Adele, CEO of iSatori Technologies, feels about his recent semi-finalist nomination for this year's prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year™ award. When he first received the nomination, he believed it would be better to be recognized for his company's growth as he was last year. Instead, this year his company, iSatori Technologies, was nominated for its ability to overcome obstacles and lay a foundation for positive growth as well as for its unwavering company spirit.

"Honestly, I wouldn't trade the lessons I've learned over the past year for anything," explains Adele. "I've watched my team grow in ways I never would have thought possible. And I'm extremely proud of all we've accomplished this past year, despite some rather challenging circumstances."

According to Ernst & Young, the "EOY" awards program was designed to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national, and global level who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. Thirty-five-year old Stephen Adele was selected as a semi-finalist and interviewed by a panel of independent judges, which included past winners, such as John Huggins, former Director, Office of Economic Development (Colorado), and David Phelps, CEO, Merlin International (last year's winner).

"I feel privileged to be among this elite group of CEO's and am deeply honored to be named as a semi-finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program," stated Stephen Adele. "Without question, our success would not have happened without our incredible team of passionate, driven employees at iSatori."

"We are extremely proud and deeply honored to receive this nomination," continues Adele. "As a company that holds true to its core values, it's really nice to be recognized by our peers. It goes to show you that a company that competes in an industry that's often tarnished can still 'do right' and 'do good' and come out on top. It's a great feeling and makes me even more proud of our employees and what the iSatori brand stands for."
