What the Hoot Are Voots?
It was a beautiful day when vegetables and fruits put their differences aside and teamed up to become Voots.
Today, children benefit from their all-natural nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. Just eat your Voots and let their goodness work together for your health.
Eat Your Voots
Created by Parents Who Care
Our idea for Voots came from a kitchen conversation about how hard it was to be sure our young daughters were eating their recommended daily three servings of fruits and vegetables.
We thought... wouldn't it be great to have a product with all of the nutrients in three servings of fruits and vegetables, and so yummy-tasting our kids would love to eat them every day! We then learned that only 7% of kids eat three servings of fruits and vegetables daily, and we realized lots of kids would benefit from such a product, not just ours.
It took a lot of work to develop Voots for our kids, but we finally got it right, and we’re now happy to share them with your family!
What are Voots?
Voots are a new, tasty chewable tart made for kids that contain all three servings of their daily recommended fruits and vegetables.
What are Voots made of?
Voots are made from real fruit and real vegetables. To boot, we worked awfully hard to make sure Voots didn't contain artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors... or any other bad stuff for kids. Yet they still taste so yummy! To see the full list of wholesome ingredients in Voots, click on the ingredients tab above.
What do Voots taste like?
Voots taste like a medley of mixed berries, and because they are naturally flavored with the wholesome goodness of real fruits, they're yummy tasting... like a sweet-tart candy (but without any sugar).
How do you eat Voots?
Any way you'd like. Some kids like to quickly chew 'em up; others slowly suck on them. We've even seen kids lick them between their fingers 'till they dissolve... for toddlers, we recommend simply breaking them up into smaller pieces. Whichever way you choose, they're fun and easy to eat.
How many Voots do you need to eat?
Just one packet of Voots (which contains two tarts) equals a full day's helpings of fruits and vegetables for kids.
What kind of benefits can my child expect from eating Voots?
Voots provide the all-important vitamins, minerals, flavonoids, and they're power-packed with antioxidants... to help boost the immune system, improve brain development, and enhance memory capabilities... to help keep your child healthy and smart!
How do Voots equal three servings of fruits and vegetables?
Voots, which are made from highly concentrated extracts of fruits and vegetables, contain an ORAC value of 1,250. (Sorry for getting too technical, but this is important stuff...) ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. This is the standard by which scientists measure antioxidant activity in foods and supplements. Studies show that the average person gets about 1,200 ORAC units per day from three servings of fruits and vegetables.
Can my child eat "too many" Voots?
No, not really, but like anything, too much of a good thing can be harmful. And it's never a good idea to exceed the recommended dosage. But if it should happen, if your child has any reactions, aside from a mild tummy ache, we suggest you contact your primary physician.
As a parent, can I eat Voots, too?
Absolutely! In fact, we eat them all the time ourselves. Voots are so yummy, it's hard not to eat a couple yourself when you're giving them to your kid(s). Moms and Dads should eat three to four Voots to gain the benefits of a full day's servings of fruits and vegetables.
Are Voots a substitute for eating whole foods?
Pretty much any supplement, including Voots, should not be viewed as a substitute for healthy eating habits, which should include whole foods. However, sadly, recent data indicates less than 7% of all children consume the recommended three servings of fruits and vegetables per day*... so we've found that Voots provide a convenient "insurance policy" for parents... so we know our kids are getting their required three servings of fruits and vegetables, no matter how poorly they might eat that day. ;-)
Should Voots be used in place of a vitamin supplement?
Not necessarily. Although Voots supply important vitamins and minerals, they don't contain the full array of vitamins and minerals found in a supplement. Voots contain other vitally important nutrients, like phytonutrients and flavonoids, the natural goodness that can only come from fruits and vegetables.
What if my child doesn't like the taste of Voots?
Well... we've haven't met a kid yet that doesn't love the taste of Voots. But, should this happen... we offer an unconditional 60-day money-back guarantee. So, if for any reason, your child (or you) doesn't like the taste of our Voots, simply let us know, and we'll gladly refund your purchase price.

"I wanted to give the feedback from my girls on Voots. Yes, they have converted. They don't care if they ever see another Juice Plus gummie! They LOVE Voots and have been taking them diligently each morning. They think it's really cool that 'candy' can be healthy. In fact, I think they are a little skeptical, but they're smart enough to just smile and keep getting them.”

“I just wanted to let you know how much my son and nephew love the
Voots. I have had a difficult time getting my son to take his vitamins and now that he has tried the Voots, he gets them all by himself without me asking. It's wonderful! Thank you.”

“I'm going to sound like one of those phony feedback people but this is all very true....Let me start by saying that I have the PICKIEST 3 year old out there...she eats nothing unless it is in the shape of a pizza or tastes like a chicken nugget...she just had her first Voot...and she's begging for more!! No joke!! Yum! Thanks!!”

"My kids gave the Voots an enthusiastic ‘thumbs up!’ More importantly, my wife, Gina, tried them, and she likes the taste, too. For Gina the most important aspect of any product she consumes is taste. The individual wrappers are a smart idea and could potentially stop our kids from self-serving, which is important because your Voots taste almost like candy.”

"With our busy lives, it's sometimes hard to get my son to slow down long enough to get all the nutrition he needs, so I love the fact that I have this extra insurance. If he doesn't eat all his veggies, at least he's still getting his nutrients and vitamins. Plus, he loves the taste of themhe begs for his Voots. It's one thing we both always agree on."

"I love the fact that my kids are eating something that's healthy for them. And they're natural! I've tried giving my kids supplements in the past, and they just spit them out. But they really like Voots. They're so convenient for busy families."
